YeetedCat
Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 27, 2026. This policy covers the YeetedCat macOS app and this website.
Who we are
YeetedCat is a Mac file-cleanup app provided by Dotstory, operated by Yohan Park. The app has no account or sign-in. This policy explains what the app processes on your Mac and what Dotstory receives through support or website hosting.
Files and settings in the app
When you scan, YeetedCat reads file and folder names or paths, sizes, timestamps, and cleanup categories in folders you select or authorize. It uses this information on your Mac to find caches, logs, installers, developer build files, and other cleanup candidates. Scan results and cleanup choices are not sent to Dotstory. App preferences such as language, scan roots, and exclusions are stored locally. The app does not include advertising or analytics tools. Selected items are moved to macOS Trash, where you can review or restore them; you empty Trash yourself. Files you move to cloud folders or backups are then handled under those services’ policies.
Support requests and retention
If you contact Dotstory by email or phone, we process the contact details you provide, your inquiry, attachments, and our replies to respond and resolve the matter. Support records are kept only as long as needed for that purpose and for any legally required period. Where applicable, consumer complaint or dispute records are kept for three years under Korean e-commerce law, then deleted. You may call instead of emailing if you prefer not to send an inquiry through Gmail.
Website hosting, logs, and cookies
This website uses Firebase Hosting. Firebase says Hosting uses IP addresses from incoming requests to detect abuse and provide usage analysis, and retains IP data for a few months. Hosting may also process technical request records such as access time and requested path. We do not currently load the Firebase Analytics SDK, advertising trackers, or optional analytics cookies, and we do not send visit events through client-side analytics scripts.
Service providers and international processing
Dotstory does not sell personal information. Google LLC provides Gmail for support email and Firebase Hosting for this website; Google may process those service data in the United States and other countries where it or its agents operate, under its privacy policy and service terms. Apple handles App Store downloads and payments. Dotstory does not receive your Apple Account credentials or payment card details.
Your choices, children, and safeguards
You may request access to, correction or deletion of, or restriction of support information by contacting us. YeetedCat scan data stays on your Mac, and you control local settings and items in Trash. The app has no user accounts or separate account-deletion process. Dotstory does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14; if we learn that a child has sent support information, we will contact a legal representative or delete it as appropriate. We limit access to support correspondence and use reasonable safeguards.
